Macky and Charlie: The Dynamic Duo

Well, these two had not seen each other for a few days. The reunion was so "dynamic", and exiting that both were exhausted after a couple of hours of non-stop running and playing. I took this picture with my phone camera after both basically collapsed on this bed.

After a while, Mackie moved to his own bed, leaving Charlie to enjoy his purple beanbag. The peace lasted only a very short half an hour or so.

Then it was time again to run amok around the house.  What a happy dog life they have. They are both a blessing to our family and to each other. We nicknamed them "The Dynamic Duo", and considering the amount of energy they both have, the name seems very appropriate!

BTW, if there are no pictures of them playing is because our cameras are not capable of taking such a picture. Do you remember that cartoon of the Tasmanian devil "Taz"? remember how fast he would move? well, these two are faster than Taz. So imagine!  :-)

Griselda, they always look so innocent when they are asleep! Thanks for sharing your adorable photos and we call our pair "partners in crime!"

Hi Lara, you are right, they do look incredibly innocent when asleep. Ah, but when they wake up! Well, that's a different story...:-)

Do you have a picture of your "partners in crime" to share? Would love to see them.

Gotta stop scratching my dog while I'm on the computer! Dog hair everywhere!

Cute pictures of your angels. Just like kids they are so angelic when asleep. LOL I thank my lucky stars that mine are small when they chase each other around the house.

Janice, don't you think it would be fantastic if dog hair could be recycled somehow?

Macky is pretty small and gentle. Charlie is medium-sized, but, (and that's a BIG but), he is strong as a horse, and very rough. His father is a very gentle poodle, and his mommy is a poodle/schnauzer mix that is also very gentle. So don't know from where Charlie got his roughness from, but you better get out of his way when he runs, or he'll send you to the hospital! ;-)

I had a golden retriever once that shed a sweaters worth every day! At least my Bostons have short hair.

Janice, I guess goldens and labs are similar in many ways. Max, our sweet yellow lab that passed away last year used to shed an incredible amount of hair. It was so bad that when we were deciding on a tile for the house, we looked only at the ones that matched Max's hair, and the one we got worked out perfectly. I don't miss the hair, but I surely miss Max.

Hi Ginger, they do make a very sweet pair. Right now Macky was just neutered, so they can't play for a while. But as soon as he gets better they'll be running around!

Sharon & Greg, they did! But the rest time was really short. It is incredible how much energy these two have! Wouldn't it be great if somebody came up with a recycling idea? When gas prices started to go up last year I was tempted to put some of my dog's hair in the car's tank and see what would happen! ;-)
