I want to introduce the new addition to our family.
My daughter just adopted a 6 month old puppy named Macky. He is a mix and we are not sure what the mix is. But the result is pure sweetness! Macky is adorable, and Charlie, our 2 year old Schnauzer/Poodle mix loves him.
Here he is. Macky is mostly white with some very cute black spots. He is so sweet and well behaved the whole family fell in love with him immediately, including Charlie. The only thing I don't like about him is that he sheds a lot. But nobody is perfect, right?
And here below is Charlie in his crate taking a nap with Macky. As you can see in the second picture, Charlie found out that Macky can be used as a pillow.

Griselda: I love the last picture! How adorable!
Hello Kayla, thank you. Isn't it sweet? We are all really happy that they get along so well.
Griselda I am glad to see you back. Your new boy looks as if he has some Jack Russell in him.
Griselda, Great pictures. We are a two dog family and they really keep each other company
Greg
Hello Gayle, thank you. Yes, I believe that's one of the breeds that the vet mentioned to my daughter. But it seems he has a bit of everything. He has grown a little beard and mustache lately, and that seems to come from some schnauzer in him. So he and Charlie might be related after all! ;-) Technically, Macky is my daughter's baby. So I am kind of his grandmother.
Hi Greg, that is nice. What breed of dogs do you have? You are welcome to share some pictures of them with us. I would love to see them.
Thank you for your comments,
Griselda, its great to see you here! The new pup is precious! I am so happy for you about the new addition. Did you name him after your dear Max?
Griselda- I am so glad you are enjoying being a grandma!! What beautiful pooches! Our big dog Gus is still goofy as ever!!
Ginger, thank you so much. Macky is my daughter's puppy and she was the one who named him. I really don't know if she was thinking of Max when selecting the puppy's name. But you know what? We have Max's name so ingrained in our brains that we are often calling Charlie and Macky "Max" anyway. How is Bella?
Carol, how are you my friend? Thank you. Glad to hear that Gus is fine and "goofing" around. Have any new pictures of him to share?
Great pictures! It looks like he is fitting right in with his new family :-)
Griselda, Bella is such a joy! She is loving the cold weather. She justs wants to hang outide and sunbathe all day. She likes being in the front yard and watching all the neighborhood activity.
How cute ... I miss when my dogs were puppies.
Griselda those are some adorable pics. I would say that Macky has a lot fo Jack Russell in him!
Lara, thank you. Yes, Macky took all of about an hour to feel right at home.
Ginger, that's great! I am happy to hear Bella is enjoying herself. ;-)
Julie, thank you. Yes, they should be puppies for at least two or three years, don't you think?
Congratulations on your new addition....it is always an exciting time...
What a cutie... as the "mom" of six, I know this is an exciting time for your family! Enjoy!
The new one is adorable with those black eyes....of course he's a puppy who wouldn't think he was cute....I understand the hair thing....it's tough to deal with but I guess you get used to it. I told a group of ladies when I went to vote (I was born and raised in a town of less than 1000) that I now have a better understanding of new mothers. They spend a big part of the time with spit-up on them and I now live with little red hairs all over me...hahahaha. You will get used to the hair...and like me would not give him up for anything.
Good luck with your new baby..
Teresa, thank you. It is exciting to have a puppy in the home. Charlie is also very exited to have Macky around. :-)
Jaime, yes, it is a great time. Macky is my first "grandson"! And he is a charmer. Thank you.
David, yes, he is adorable. Thank you. If he is not very close you can't tell if his eyes are open or not, all that black hair around his eyes make it impossible to see! He is such a funny and sweet little thing. Ah, the hair problem... we did get used to the hair issue with Max, our yellow lab baby who was with us for nine years and died last April. Max used to shed like crazy. We still find his hairs hiding everywhere. Charlie doesn't shed at all. But this little thing, Macky, also sheds like Max, and even worst since he has white and black hair. So there is no scape. He'll get you regardless if you have dark or light clothes! ;-)
This is a picture I took a few minutes ago of Macky and Charlie sleeping like angels. Don't let them fool you...they are not this peaceful all the time!
Griaselda,
Very cute.....thanks for stepping to the plate to adopt!
Dan, my daughter is the one that adopted Macky. Since she is at least half of the time at our home, so is Macky. He has been a blessed addition to the family, and everybody loves him. Charlie misses him the days he is not here, and gets all excited when Macky arrives.
