Where is that music coming from?

FROM MIAMI LAKES' MAIN STREET, OF COURSE!

Miami Lakes is a great town with a wonderful sense of community, and Main Street is its heart.

It is always nice to take a walk along Main Street and find a musician or a group playing some great tunes. This coming Saturday and the next one are going to be such days with musical entertainment scheduled to play at the Main Street Gazebo in the corner of Main Street and New Barn Road.

Saturday August 23rd – music by the Cachet quartet from 7 to 9 pm

Saturday August 30 – guitarist Nicolas Marks from 7 to 9 pm

Enjoy and have fun!

April, thank you. Yes, music is relaxing or invigorating, depending on the type. It is nice to have dinner and then take a walk and listen to the music.

Wish I could come Griselda, I adore outdoor music events. Nice photo of your downtown area.

Bonnie, thank you. Yes, outdoor music events are great. I hope it doesn't rain though. Because it has been raining almost every day. But then again, we may have a storm in the afternoon, and have a gorgeous evening, all in the same day. That is the beauty of South Florida's weather!

Griselda, you are making me nostalgic for a tropical vacation. Great picture!

Lara, thank you. The weather couldn't be more tropical right now...we have storms every day! ;-)  But it seems that at least the big storm, Gustav, is not going to hit us.
